How Getting Paid Works on Bands2Fans

Bands2Fans uses a direct-pay model. Fans send money to you. You receive it. There is no platform cut on the money itself and no waiting for an algorithm or subscriber threshold before you can get paid.

How it works

1. You connect your own Stripe account to your channel (one-time setup in your channel wallet/payment settings).
2. A fan clicks Tip, Buy, or any paid button on your channel.
3. The payment is processed through Stripe and sent to your connected Stripe account.
4. Stripe deposits the money to your bank on its normal schedule.

You do not need a special Bands2Fans balance. The money never sits in a platform wallet waiting for you to withdraw it. It goes to the Stripe account you connected.

What fans can pay for

• Tips
• Digital downloads or paid content you set up
• Anything else you enable on your channel that has a price

What you need

• A Stripe account (personal or business)
• Your channel set to accept payments (connect Stripe once in your channel settings)
• A paid Bands2Fans plan if you want the full set of tools (free accounts can still receive tips once Stripe is connected)

Fees

• Stripe charges its normal processing fee (the same fee you would pay if you used Stripe anywhere else).
• Bands2Fans does not take a percentage of the money fans send you.
• You pay a flat rent for your channel if you are on a paid plan. That is separate from fan payments.

Getting started

1. Log in and open your channel settings.
2. Go to Wallet / Payment Settings.
3. Click Connect with Stripe and complete the short onboarding (identity and bank details).
4. Once Stripe approves the connection, the Tip and paid buttons on your channel become active.

After that, any money a fan sends goes straight to you.

Questions

If a fan says they paid but you do not see it, check your Stripe dashboard first. All payments appear there. If the connection looks broken, reconnect Stripe from your channel settings.

That’s the whole system. Connect Stripe once. Fans pay you. Money arrives in your Stripe account.
