Paul LeCorre and Rich Leduc are LeDuo.
Two last names that start with “Le”,, hence… “Le”Duo…. Remove the quotes, just to make it easier… LeDuo. Yup, they are just that witty.
Paul has been playing guitar and singing in bands since the turn of the 16th century. Rich just started last week.
LeDuo is an acoustic-based (but not limited to) Montreal live act that encompasses cover music from the last 7 decades. With over 5000 years of music experience between them, they know a thing or two about music… somehow, nothing about the music business. But they’re learning!!
Lately, LeDuo has found themselves writing and recording a ton of material. The style is rooted in everything from rock to soul to folk to funk to blues… and labels are so passé. It’s real music, written by real, raw, and flawed human beings. No AI was used in writing nor recording any of the material they put out.
With extensive touring as well as sound engineering experience, Paul has the knowhow to make a small duo act seem large and sound very full. Paul has an extensive catalogue and has been writing and recording songs with bands and as a solo act, as mentioned, since the turn of the 16th century. The kinship that was formed with Rich when they started writing together was instant. The chemistry was strong and immediate. They both approach song writing and life, with an open mind and kindness that is infectious.
Rich was with The Cranes for the better part of 28 years, where he sang covers from Elvis Presley to Elvis Costello, to Neil Diamond, to AC/DC to Rage against the Machine. Diversity is a source of pride. They released original music, and have played shows across Canada as well as in several U.S. states.
Hopefully there is something for you in LeDuo’s first CD release entitled Rise.
Peace is hard to find. Sometimes all it takes is a song. It's ok to be kind.
